    Joseph Thomas, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Thomas received his medical degree in ophthalmology from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He has been performing laser vision correction since 1997 and joined LasikPlus in 2006. He has performed over 34,000 laser vision corrections and uses multiple laser platforms to offer patients a variety of bladeless treatment options. Dr. Thomas has also performed thousands of cataract procedures. He has completed a cornea & refractive surgery fellowship at the University Hospitals of Cleveland. He has taught and assisted residents in how to successfully perform advanced, no stitch cataract surgery and other intraocular procedures. He is also a diplomat of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Thomas is married and the proud father of three. He may often be seen attending hockey games or playing tennis or golf with his family.

    Dr. Walsh has been practicing optometry since 1993. He was in private practice for 4 years before becoming a part of the LasikPlus team in October of 1999. Dr. Walsh’s center has earned the Patient Satisfaction Award for the company 3 times. This award is given to the one center in the company with the highest patient satisfaction survey results for the year. Dr. Walsh also received the LasikPlus P.E.A.R.L. award in 2008 for Professionalism, Excellence, Achievement, Results and Leadership. He is a founding member of LasikPlus’s Optometry Advisory Board and is a certified facilitator for the company’s HR training team. Many of the company’s new optometrists come to the Columbus center to train with Dr. Walsh. Dr. Walsh is married and has two daughters. His kids are involved in 4H and soccer. When he’s not attending soccer games, the family is going to horse shows with their two horses. He also enjoys playing golf, and he and his family enjoy snow skiing whenever they get the chance.
