  Kathy Chiero

  Founder - REALTOR®

  Kathy Chiero was licensed to sell real estate in 1996. She has sold over 1000 homes in Central Ohio and is known for her communication skills and her ability to educate the consumer in all aspects of the real estate transaction. Her expertise is pricing homes well ensures the sale of homes well within the days on market average for area Realtors. Kathy’s goal is to build an elite team of Realtors and transition specialists to aid the consumer in all aspects of the Buying and Selling of Real Estate. To this end she is continually seeking ways to educate homeowners and provide valuable, trusted partners in their move. She is the founder of the groundbreaking “Downsize Columbus” Seminars to which thousands of downsizing homeowners have gained valuable tools to make “last move” decisions. Kathy is a member of the $25 Million Dollar Club and has annual sales of $10 Million or more. She is the 2006 CBR instructor of the Year.

  Shirley Sandridge

  Office Manager - REALTOR®

  Shirley has worked as a real estate office/team Manager since 1995 and has been a licensed Realtor since 2003. She has her CNE I and II (Certified Negotiation Expert) as well as her SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist) designations. Originally from Lancaster, Shirley is an adult graduate of Otterbein University, where she earned a BA in English Literature w/Honors and continued on with MBA classes. Kathy calls Shirley the “air traffic controller” for the team. A life-long student, Shirley uses her extensive experience and skills as a leader, a problem-solver and a negotiator to keep the office running smoothly, assuring that all details are handled quickly & correctly and that all team members & customers of The Kathy Chiero Group and DownSize Columbus receive the best client care. Shirley has been with Keller Williams since the first KW office opened its doors in Ohio in 2002, takes advantage of the company’s extensive training programs and is a firm believer in the KW win-win philosophy.

  Brandon Potts

  Client Care Manager - REALTOR®

  Brandon has been working actively in Central Ohio real estate since 2007. He started in college with classes in Business Administration and Marketing, then continued as a licensed Office Manager and Director of Operations at other brokerages. Brandon has his CNE 1 (Certified Negotiation Expert) and joined The Kathy Chiero Group in April ’18 working as an inside sales rep, our Client Care Manager and handling all things web-based. He has become the team’s go-to guy for all technical issues. Brandon has recently relocated to Phoenix with his husband. He will still be handling all of the same aspects for Kathy’s team remotely, “attending” weekly team meetings and flying back to Columbus quarterly for our larger Downsize Columbus events. Brandon is a dog-lover and a travel-lover… we’re excited that we can keep him as an integral part of our team, even from states away.

  Cindy Hodgson

  Cindy is a life-long resident of Central Ohio. She understands the needs of growing families as well as those who need to downsize at this point in their life and she has easily fit into The Kathy Chiero Group since starting with us in September of 2016. Cindy has been a licensed Realtor since 1999, starting her career in new construction. With a background in interior design and being married to a builder, she has years of experience in the new home sales world, as well as the resale market. Cindy is a recipient of the CBR $25 Million award and holds designations for Professional Property Stager, Certified Negotiation Expert, Residential Construction Certified and Certified New Home Specialist.

  Mary Blackstone

  Event Manager - REALTOR®

  Mary has been a life-long resident of Central Ohio. She grew up in the real estate industry w/parents who flipped homes before it was popular. She and her husband, Tuck, have also purchased, remodeled and sold properties, while completing much of the work themselves. Mary’s parents owned & operated Rolling Acres Quarter Horse Shows/Craft Shows /Farm and farmed 1,300 acres in Delaware, Ohio. She has been involved in the family business since age16 and learned the importance of providing excellent customer service to all of their exhibitors and vendors. Her parents taught her two very important phrases: “Treat everyone exactly how you want to be treated” and “Always remember word of mouth is the best form of advertisement and, both good or bad, it will travel very quickly.” Mary loves helping people! She truly listens to each and every clients ‘ wish list and will work diligently to find the ‘right’ home for each of her clients. Mary is not satisfied unless she has provided 110% customer service to every client. Mary has excellent listening and customer service skills and looks forward to assisting you buy/sell your next home or land.
