Description
I'm originally from Newcomerstown (Woody Hayes hometown also), grew up in Grove City and graduated from GCHS in 1975. Started college at West Liberty State College then transferred to OSU and earned my BA in History and Archaeology in 1987 and I earned a Master of Public Administration in 1992 also from OSU. I fell in love with investing in 1987 and have stayed fascinated with the financial world ever since. I passed the CFP exam in 2009, earned my EA in 2014 and my Series 65 somewhere along the way. I worked thirteen years in printing, had a consulting firm for five years and then went to work full time for Pleasant Valley Fire District, from which I retired in December, 2018 with 21 years' service. I have been married to my lovely wife, Mary for 37 years and we have no children. I volunteer with the Ohio History Connection, the Humanist Community of Central Ohio, Honor Flights and, soon, The Nature Conservancy.
